Garden House
A quiet city abode that boasts a cabin-like interior driven around the views of its modest but rare private garden.
About
Located at the ground level of a high-rise residential tower, Garden House is a two storey apartment that boasts a cabin-like interior driven around the views of its modest but rare private garden that also features a Bardiglio marble fountain meticulously built by Building Narrative. Natural and tactile materials like oak, washi paper and rattan add a subtle oriental hint to the modern Nordic-inspired home.
The integrated dining cove and central living space also aligns with the reflecting pool and park treetops beyond the private garden wall. A Frangipani tree, pool, and the marble fountain are all elements that were deliberately raised from the ground to be seen from the deepest parts of the living room.
We were appointed to source for and style the entire house with our curation of mid-century classics including European and Danish furniture by Eames, Noguchi, Jeanneret and Breuer, to name a few. St. Leo Interiors’ natural Dolomite Plaster also covers the walls and ceilings of the home, evoking a sense of calm and creating a warm and alluring abode.
