The Pavilia Forest

Inspired by nature’s quiet harmony and the ritual of forest bathing, our styling for The Pavilia Forest Clubhouse — a New World Development project by acclaimed Japanese interior designer Koichiro Ikebuchi — celebrates the art of slow living.

About

The Pavilia Forest, a vision by New World Development, serves as a modern interpretation of shinrin-yoku — the Japanese art of forest bathing. Located in the heart of Hong Kong, The Pavilia Forest reimagines city living through a serene, nature-led design vision, offering a tranquil take on urban life in Kai Tak. Working within the architectural framework of Japanese designer Koichiro Ikebuchi, we sought to translate this mindful, restorative lifestyle into a tangible interior experience.

Our styling scope focuses on the clubhouse, including the lobby, kitchen, multifunction rooms, and banquet area. Emphasizing natural materials, rich textures, and soft ambient light, we aimed to create a refined yet grounded atmosphere. The resulting interior is an intentional social landscape where every element invites a slower pace. Rather than a mere collection of furniture, the space exists as a nuanced dialogue between Japanese precision and Nordic warmth — a retreat that honors the art of well-being and the quiet beauty of the everyday.
